I have taught Pilates for the past 5 years and am currently studying part time at Oxford doing a 5-year degree in Osteopathy. I established The Pilates Studio of Berkshire 3 years ago and due to popular demand need to keep expanding the timetable. I have been in the fitness industry for over 7 years teaching numerous aerobic classes and working in gyms. I teach one to one sessions and group classes for all ages and abilities.
Recently I have been researching in to urinary incontinence and have found that Pilates is a great way to help alleviate this condition many people suffer from. Many of my clients do have specific conditions such as MS, prolapsed discs, fibromyalgia and urinary incontinence, but since participating in my classes or from having 1-2-1 sessions they have gained great relief from their symptoms.
I get great satisfaction from teaching all levels of participants and enjoy the interaction and fun we have within every one of my classes.
My teaching style is very professional and informative, yet still maintaining a relaxed fun environment.

Pilates Instructor
As an experienced personal trainer I have worked with a variety of clients who’s goals have varied from weight loss, bodybuilding to general fitness improvement. I have a Diploma in Sports science and a Diploma specializing in Personal training and Sports therapy. Previously I worked in gyms but wanted to provide a higher standard of service so I started Solution Fitness, which has been established since 2001. I completed the Pilates course and have been teaching with The Pilates Studio of Berkshire ever since. I am enthusiastic about all types of sports and fitness but golf is my passion. Due to my enthusiasm of golf I qualified as a CHEK Golf Biomechanics Instructor and hold group and 1to1 sessions for clients and pros to help them develop their strength and power to increase distance, improve accuracy and stop the aches and pains. All of my participants have improved and achieved their desired goals from attending my classes or from having personal training.

My passion for Pilates began almost 5 years ago when I started attending classes on a regular basis as part of my own fitness regime. Since then I have qualified as a Pilates Instructor with Pilates Training Solutions and have enjoy teaching group classes as well as on a one-to-ones basis. Some of the benefits my clients have experienced from attending my Pilates classes are reduced back and joint pain, increased postural awareness, toned stomach muscles and most importantly relaxation. I get great satisfaction in seeing the immense improvement achieved by all of my clients over a short time scale. Everyone is welcome to attend our classes, as age and fitness levels are not an issue. All of the exercises are progressional so you are able to work at your own pace. The classes we run are suitable for beginners through to advance levels so please contact us to arrange a suitable class. I hope you will come along and experience the benefits with us at one of our classes.
Tracey Harrison
Pilates Instructor
I have been practicing Pilates for around 5 years, and in 2006 I decided to have a career change and train to become a Pilates Instructor. Since qualifying I have been teaching in and around the Reading area at various venues. I also work part time as a Massage Therapist, providing relaxing or rejuvenation Swedish Massage, which is wonderful to release any tension and reduce stress, and Advanced Remedial Massage treatments for clients with particular injuries or problem areas of discomfort. Both Pilates and Massage complement each other very well as they both promote well being and relaxation.
I have covered classes for Rebecca in the past and cannot wait to start my own classes at The Pilates Studio of Berkshire. I enjoy the quiet and calm atmosphere the studios have and find it a lovely place to teach. During my sessions I always combine a variety of mobility, strength and flexibility exercises so that everyone can benefit from the class. As the classes are small we are able to give alternatives to tailor the session to your individual needs if required. The focus on correct posture and slow controlled movements allow this form of exercise to be practiced by everyone no matter what level of fitness they have.
Being able to teach others and seeing them achieve the benefits I have experienced from participating in Pilates is very rewarding. I am shortly going to be training for my Baby Massage Instructors Diploma and Level 3 Teaching Certificate in Baby Massage. I am very interested in the Alexander Technique and Reflexology and this is something else I might consider training in, in the future.
